Bridal Fashion
As with casual, every day fashion, Bridal fashion also changes and evolves through out the year. Designers release collections to match the seasons, providing brides with the perfect look for their summer, or winter wedding. Every year you’ll notice the latest and most popular trends in wedding gowns, veils, and accessories. Beading may be in one year, and out the next. However, Bridal fashion doesn’t tend to vary so greatly as normal fashion does, with the same traditional looks being prominent year after year. You will notice changes in details, though, such as design elements.
The cut, or neckline of wedding gowns does not fluctuate with the seasons as greatly as accessories or wedding jewellery might. The latest trend in accessories include vintage inspired birdcage veils, bejeweled headbands and hairpieces. Wedding dresses this year are retaining tradition with classic strapless looks, but with a modern twist; look out for grecian draping and Asymmetrical looks. Today’s bride is looking to make a statement with her dress, she wants to reflect her own unique personal style, while keeping the look classy and appropriate for the occasion. Many brides are also choosing more relaxed footwear, steering clear of uncomfortable stilettos, and instead opting for a venue specific shoe: such as sandals for beach weddings, or whimsical boots for outdoor weddings.
